One of the 'additional' attraction in Kościeliska Valley.
The black trail begins near the Ornak Hall Shelter so you have to walk through the entire Kościeliska Valley ( around 1,5 h).
The trail leads through a rocky path among 50 year-old spruce forest.
Walking time: 30min ↓ 20min. For us this place is exceptional, emanating peace and closeness to nature.
The shore of the pond is arboreous, parially swampy. In contrast to ponds in High Tatras, Smreczyński Pond has rich fauna and flora. Despite surrounding trees, you can see neighbourhood peaks really well.
